About The Role

As a Bank Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents to enable our team to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You are responsible for leading a team of care staff, which includes training, supervision, and delegating duties on shift. You will also support medication administration and ordering, reviewing and updating resident care plans, risk assessment, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams and resident family members.

You will always respect residents’ dignity and preferences, helping to create an environment that is warm, welcoming and vibrant.

About You

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Residential Senior Care Assistant. We are looking for a warm‑hearted, compassionate individual committed to providing individualized care and support.

You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, with progression into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads or nursing pathways.

As this is a Bank position, your hours and days will vary to cover annual or sick leave and other fluctuations.
