As a Medical Science Liaison within our Medical Affairs team, you will serve as a scientific partner to healthcare professionals across the UK & Ireland. You will bridge the gap between clinical research and clinical practice, advance scientific knowledge, and help drive meaningful improvements in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, academic researchers and clinical experts as a credible scientific partner.
- Deliver clear, evidence‑based scientific information and present data at medical meetings, educational events and advisory boards.
- Identify and support clinical research opportunities, including investigator‑led studies, and provide scientific guidance throughout the process.
- Gather and share insights from the field to shape medical strategy and strengthen scientific communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams across medical, commercial and clinical functions to align on objectives and ensure a joined‑up approach.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of compliance and integrity.
- Contribute to improving patient pathways by identifying barriers and working with stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
- Background in clinical research, medical science or a related healthcare field with an understanding of how clinical evidence is developed and translated into practice.
- Strong grasp of clinical research methodology and the ability to evaluate and communicate medical literature to diverse audiences.
- Excellent at explaining complex scientific concepts in straightforward language, both in writing and when presenting to groups.
- Natural ability to connect with people, listen actively and build trust; genuinely enjoy working with healthcare professionals and experts.
- Comfortable coordinating across teams and with external partners; thrive in environments requiring cross‑functional collaboration.
- Advanced degree in a life science, pharmacy, medicine or related field (PhD, PharmD, MD).
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus but not essential.
