Live-in Carers

As a Live-in Carer in Reading, you will move into the client's home to provide round‑clock support, helping with daily life tasks and ensuring their comfort and safety.

• Companionship – keeping clients happy and engaged
• Personal hygiene support – help with washing, dressing and general grooming
• Medication – reminders and collecting prescriptions as needed
• Meal preparation – assist at mealtimes and manage simple cooking duties
• Housework – laundry, cleaning and tidying of the client’s living spaces
• Errands – shopping assistance and running other necessary errands
• Mobility – aid with getting around the home and short walking distances

We offer a range of working patterns to suit both you and our clients, from short‑term placements to more permanent ones. Your schedule will be arranged to best meet the needs of the client and your availability.

Previous experience or professional qualifications are not required. Our Alina Homecare Academy provides exclusive training to equip you with the skills you need from day one.
