Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are currently unable to offer Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS). To provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care and support to Clients in their own homes, promoting dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing. Care Workers are responsible for delivering care in accordance with the Client's care plan, risk assessments, PS4U policies and procedures, and their training and competency.

Key Responsibilities Provide person-centred personal care and support according to individual care plans. Support Clients with personal hygiene, dressing, continence, mobility, nutrition and hydration. Support with meal preparation, light domestic tasks and other agreed activities identified in the care plan. Promote independence and encourage Clients to do as much as possible for themselves. Maintain dignity, privacy, choice and respect at all times.

Observe and report changes in a Client's physical health, mental wellbeing, behaviour or circumstances. Report safeguarding concerns, incidents, accidents and risks immediately to the management team. Maintain accurate and timely care records and complete all required documentation. Follow medication procedures where trained and assessed as competent. Follow infection prevention, health and safety, moving and handling and lone-working procedures. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.

Work positively with colleagues, families and other health and social care professionals. Attend all allocated care calls punctually and remain for the required duration. Follow the rota and notify management promptly of any absence or inability to attend a scheduled call. Use equipment and PPE safely and report any defects, shortages or concerns. Participate fully in induction, supervision, mandatory training and competency assessments.

Safeguarding & Professional Responsibility Every Care Worker has a responsibility to protect Clients from abuse, neglect and avoidable harm. Care Workers must speak up and escalate concerns and must never ignore, conceal or falsify information. Care Workers must maintain appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality and conduct at all times. Person Specification Essential Genuine commitment to providing high-quality care. Caring, respectful and compassionate approach.

Reliable, punctual and professional. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to follow care plans, instructions and procedures. Able to recognise and report concerns. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work flexibly within agreed contractual hours. Willingness to complete mandatory training and the Care Certificate where required. Satisfactory DBS and required pre-employment checks. Desirable Previous domiciliary or social care experience.

Care Certificate or Level 2/3 Health & Social Care qualification. Experience supporting people with complex care needs.
