The vacant post is full time 37.5 hours per week. Requests to work flexibly and/or part time will be considered, taking into account business needs.
Due to the service expansion, the post holder will be required to cover shifts between Monday‑Friday.

The successful applicant will assist imaging staff in the provision of imaging services and assist Radiologists in specialised areas of work. Providing direct patient care and administrative duties including reception and clerical tasks, to ensure a high quality of service for patients.
The post holder will be required to hold strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and to remain calm and focused in a fast‑paced environment.
The post holder will help maintain the professional standards of the department and will undertake a range of delegated radiography‑related duties across MRI, US, and Fluoroscopy.
Job responsibilities- Assisting in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures and supporting radiologists during interventional and minor surgical procedures.
- Acting as a chaperone when required, ensuring patient comfort and dignity at all times.
- Safely transferring and moving patients, adhering to manual handling protocols.
- Carrying out basic nursing care tasks, such as recording patient observations.
- Ensuring patient confidentiality, dignity and observing safeguarding protocols.
- Providing administrative support, including reception cover, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and updating patients' electronic records.
- Maintaining a calm and professional demeanour under pressure while delivering compassionate care.
