About the Role:

We are recruiting reliable Kitchen Porters and Event Porters to support a wide range of venues across Reading - including hotels, event spaces, nearby stadiums and private functions. Shifts are fully flexible, making this ideal for anyone looking to earn extra money around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting chefs and catering teams with general cleaning and kitchen duties

* Washing dishes, utensils and equipment via pot wash, plate wash or glasswash

* Cloakroom duties when required

* Keeping workstations clean, organised and safe

* Moving stock, equipment and furniture for event setups

* Assisting with event setup and breakdown

* Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience as a Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant or Event Porter is helpful but not essential

* A positive, can-do attitude and strong team ethic

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

* Flexibility for evenings, weekends and occasional short notice shifts
