We are looking for a reliable Painter and Decorator to join our in‑house maintenance team at De Vere Wokefield Estate. De Vere Wokefield Estate is a large estate with two hotel buildings including a historic mansion house, making it ideal for conferences, weddings and events.
ResponsibilitiesCarry out any painting and decorating tasks within the hotel to the highest standard. Ensure minimum disruption to guests with adequate provision of protection and warning signs, and be safety conscious at all times with regards to yourself, guests and any staff in the vicinity. Be involved in general maintenance work from time to time. Work 40 hours per week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm over five days, including weekends on a rota basis.
Skills& Experience
- Prior experience and knowledge of painting and decorating in a large‑scale venue
- Dedication to working to a high standard and the ability to prioritise workload
- Good attention to detail and a can‑do attitude
- Experience of general maintenance tasks and willingness to step in and support when required
- Salary: £27,038 per year
