You will provide the payroll team, stakeholders and third parties, with reporting, system support, and analytics to assist the timely and accurate delivery of payrolls.
Duties & Responsibilities- SME for Payroll system (for those payrolls managed in-house).
- Lead on data quality testing for system Implementations, changes and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with Tech or vendors for resolution.
- Ensure Payroll System accuracy/integrity, including compliance with internal controls.
- Supports across multiple payroll teams e.g., UK, NI, US, ROI and INTL.
- Create, analyse and distribute payroll related reports and dashboards (e.g. Payroll summaries, tax reports and audit files).
- Translate data into actionable insights for Finance, P&C and leadership teams.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness in reporting and compliance related documents.
- Provide flexible support to senior payroll team including support on data uploads to the payroll system to high level of accuracy.
- Writing and producing reports using a reporting system and using MS Excel to carry out some day‑to‑day duties.
- Manage and maintain Alteryx workflows used to support payroll processing and validation.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate data sources and streamline processes using Alteryx.
- Develop, optimise and automate new Alteryx workflows to improve efficiency.
- 5+ years payroll experience is required including or additionally 2+ years’ experience in payroll analysis and payroll system administration.
- Strong proficiency with Payroll platforms.
- Knowledge of Alteryx designer with proven experience in maintaining and creating workflows preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and experiences with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Hands‑on approach to problem solving.
- Able to step in and out of day‑to‑day payroll related activities where required to support the team.
- Experience supporting SOX compliance or Payroll audits.
- Familiarity with Global Payroll Processes.
