✨ The Opportunity

This is a senior payroll leadership role within a large, fast-paced organisation undergoing continuous change. You’ll own end-to-end payroll delivery across UK, Northern Ireland & ROI, lead a high-performing team, and act as the key payroll authority for senior stakeholders.

🧠 What They’re Looking For

* Currently operating at Payroll Manager / Head of Payroll level

* Proven experience in large-scale payroll operations (5,000+ employees)

* Irish payroll experience is essential

* CIPP or IPASS qualified

* Comfortable managing multiple projects & transformation

* Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability

Key Responsibilities

* Payroll Leadership:
Own end-to-end payroll delivery for UK, NI & ROI, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness

* Compliance & Governance:
Manage PAYE, NIC, pensions, auto-enrolment, BIK, PSWT, PRSI, GDPR, audits & internal controls

* Team Leadership:
Develop, mentor, and lead a team of payroll professionals with a focus on performance and engagement

* Stakeholder Management:
Act as the main payroll contact for People & Culture, Finance, Retail Ops & external providers

* Change & Projects:
Lead payroll-related initiatives including automation, system improvements & legislative change

* Reporting & Insights:
Deliver payroll metrics, SLA reporting and governance updates to senior leadership
