The Role

Are you an experienced internal recruiter, talent acquisition professional, or delivery-focused consultant who thrives on candidate engagement without the pressure of cold business development? This is an ideal next step for someone used to working with hiring managers and filling roles at pace, but who now wants the variety, tools, and rewards of an agency setting, without the sales targets.

We’re looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Reading-based delivery team, working exclusively with existing, high-value accounts. You’ll focus on fulfilling roles across engineering and manufacturing, with warm client relationships and ongoing vacancies ready for you to take ownership of.

This is not an internal recruitment role, but if you’ve worked in one, you’ll likely feel right at home here.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing the full recruitment process from role briefing through to placement
• Building strong candidate pipelines across engineering and manufacturing disciplines
• Working closely with hiring managers and key account stakeholders to understand role requirements and hiring needs
• Delivering a high-quality, consultative service to both candidates and clients
• Supporting and mentoring more junior team members, where relevant
• Proactively contributing to the continued success of our managed accounts

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in internal recruitment, talent acquisition, RPO, or delivery-focused agency recruitment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A passion for creating great candidate experiences
• Confidence managing multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment
