HR Advisor

Looking for a genuinely broad HR role? If you enjoy variety and want to be involved in every aspect of HR rather than being confined to one specialism , this could be an excellent opportunity. We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and growing organisation in London on a temporary basis. This is a true HR generalist role .

You will work across the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees with everything from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance, absence, policies, compliance and day-to-day HR advice. No two days are likely to be the same. What will you be involved in? You will provide practical, hands-on HR support across the organisation, including:
Advising managers and employees on a wide range of day-to-day HR matters Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance Supporting managers through formal and informal HR processes Recruitment, selection and onboarding Preparing contracts, letters and other HR documentation Supporting probation and performance management processes Managing absence and supporting attendance management Reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures Providing guidance on UK employment law and HR best practice Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation Supporting HR reporting, audits and compliance Coaching managers and helping develop their people-management capability Liaising with external employment law advisers where appropriate Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys being a generalist HR practitioner and is happy to get involved wherever their expertise is needed. You will ideally have:
At least two years of HR experience at HR Advisor, HR Officer or similar level Broad generalist HR experience across the employee lifecycle Good employee relations and case management experience Sound knowledge of UK employment law Experience supporting and advising managers Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The confidence to manage several different HR priorities at once A practical, approachable and solutions-focused style CIPD Level 5 , or working towards it, would be advantageous.

Experience with in health and social care, care services or another regulated environment would be useful but is not essential. Why consider this opportunity?
