Senior PbDoc Engineer

Wipro is seeking a skilled Senior PbDoc / Document Automation Engineer (PBDOC1) to join our dynamic team.

We’re seeking a seasoned engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of enterprise-grade document automation solutions on Pb Doc (or equivalent document workflow engines). The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on expertise across document classification, OCR/ICR, metadata modeling, and enterprise integrations, with strong architecture skills in microservices and distributed systems. You will drive solution architecture, implement secure and compliant workflows, and operationalize CI/CD in a Dev Sec Ops  environment across Azure/AWS/GCP.

• Own end‑to‑end architecture for document automation solutions on Pb Doc (or similar platforms), ensuring scalability, resilience, and observability.
• Design metadata models
  , taxonomies, and schema evolution strategies to support high‑volume document ingestion, processing, and retrieval.
• Define microservices and API boundaries; select appropriate patterns (saga, CQRS, event sourcing, pub/sub) for reliable and fault‑tolerant workflows.
• Build and optimize pipelines for document classification
  , OCR/ICR
  , and data extraction (including layout‑aware and semi‑structured documents).
• Implement workflow orchestration (BPMN/DMN or equivalent) within PbDoc; integrate with enterprise systems via REST
  , SOAP
  , MQ
  , ETL
  .

• Apply Zero Trust principles across services and data flows; implement IAM (RBAC/ABAC),
  encryption (at‑rest/in‑transit),
  certificate management
  .

• Design cloud‑native deployments on Azure/AWS/GCP
  ; leverage managed services (queues, storage, databases, container orchestration).

• Experience in enterprise application development and architecture roles, with experience in document workflow/automation platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Pb Doc platform (or equivalent: Kofax, Open Text, Abbyy, Hyper science, etc.) and workflow engines.
