An established Client is seeking anSC Cleared Principal Data Engineer on an initial contract. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable data pipelines and platforms Working within a collaborative Agile team, you’ll deliver robust data engineering solutions using modern cloud technologies while ensuring compliance with security and governance standards. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects within a secure environment.

• Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise-scale data platforms, architectures, and engineering standards.
• Build and optimise secure, scalable cloud-based data solutions that enable reporting, analytics, AI, and business intelligence capabilities.
• Design and maintain modern ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration frameworks, and reusable data products.

• 7 years’ experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Development, or Software Engineering.
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise with technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Airflow, Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Proven experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data architectures.

Between £600 – £900 Per day inside IR35

This role is based in Reading and requires 3 days a week onsite
