Kirtana consulting is looking for GNME Functional Consultant (GE Small world) for 6months rolling contract in Reading.
Job description:Role
Title:
GNME Functional Consultant (GE Small world)
Must HaveSkills:
- GE Small World
- GNME 5.3.x solutions
- Azure Dev Ops or Git
- Basic understanding of Scripting or configuration (eg Magik, SQL, or similar)
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams
- Work closely with Developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
- Support solution design, ensuring alignment with GNME capabilities and best practices
- Configure and validate GNME functionality (eg workflows, data capture processes, validation rules)
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support incident and problem management by analysing functional issues and identifying root causes
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise business processes
- Produce and maintain documentation including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals
