We're looking for an experienced SQL DBA to join a growing team supporting critical SQL Server environments. You'll be responsible for ensuring database availability, performance, security, and resilience across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Optimise database performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Maintain high availability solutions and ensure system resilience.
- Implement security best practices and database governance.
- Automate database administration tasks using T-SQL and Power Shell
. - Monitor database health, capacity, and performance.
- Provide operational support and incident resolution.
Skills Required:
- Strong SQL Server DBA experience.
- Database administration, backup and recovery expertise.
- Performance tuning and optimisation.
- High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) experience.
- Database security and access management.
- Automation using T-SQL and Power Shell.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of SQL Server environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
