Location: Reading, Berkshire (Hybrid)
We're seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join a growing platform team responsible for maintaining, improving and scaling a cloud-based platform.
This role would suit someone with a background in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, SRE or Linux Systems Administration who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems and working across cloud, Kubernetes and networking environments.
Key Responsibilities- Support cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking and platform issues.
- Manage Kubernetes environments and containerised workloads.
- Automate deployments and infrastructure.
- Support Linux systems and platform improvements.
- Work with engineering teams to deliver reliable services.
- Assist with incident resolution and continuous improvement.
- Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, SRE or Linux administration background.
- Strong networking and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Linux administration experience.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.
