- Join one of the Commercial Risk or Reinsurance teams as a permanent colleague from day one and help clients identify risks and obtain the best possible cover.
- Provide customer service and support the delivery of client-facing transactional activities.
- Assist in the day-to-day running of client risk and insurance programmes.
- Contribute to client satisfaction, retention and profitability; perform administrative tasks supporting the broking process.
- Input data accurately to maintain management information.
As an Aon Apprentice you will be enrolled onto our Development Programme. It is built around three core elements:
- Business learning – on-the-job learning to develop knowledge of your team and solution line.
- Centralised learning – induction, monthly webinars, and skills training to build confidence and network across our business.
- Professional qualifications – support towards your level 4 Insurance Apprenticeship and Certificate in Insurance through the Chartered Insurance Institute, with paid study leave and materials provided.
You will have access to networking opportunities and support from:
Your apprentice network, Your mentor, Business seniors, and The Early Careers Team.
Upon completion, you’ll continue to receive support expect you to be promotion-ready within 24 months and may continue studies for CII qualifications. After 18 months, you will continue your professional development taking on more client responsibilities.
Next stepsEntry requirements:
- 112 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels (or 280 UCAS points for exams prior to 2017, excluding General Studies) i.e. BBC
- Five GCSEs grade 9-4 including Maths and English (A*-C for exams prior to 2020)
- Motivation and ambition – be able to articulate why you want a career in insurance or reinsurance
- Commercial awareness – helps us provide clear support and advice to clients
- Passion and curiosity – value delivering excellent client service
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style
