As a Domestic Loss Adjuster you will manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across the East Midlands, including visiting customers at their homes, coordinating visits from contractors, and finally settling each claim. You will compile comprehensive reports and provide a calming presence during clients’ unsettled moments such as burst pipes, fires, or storm damage.

• A full UK Driving Licence – essential for travel by car.
• Insurance knowledge – understanding of how a home insurance policy operates and the basic makeup of a domestic property.
• Excellent communication skills – speaking with and writing to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and negotiating fair settlements.
• Problem‑solving abilities – identifying and solving problems efficiently.
• Time management – planning your own week, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines while handling multiple claims simultaneously.

• Experience with Apple software such as iPads or other tablets.

• Comprehensive training specific to Sedgwick.
• Professional development towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters’ Cert CILA qualification.
