Director of Insurance and Claims

This will be among the most senior “in‑house” roles coming up this year. On this occasion the role is within the transportation sectors. The insurance programme mainly centres on coverages needed for the UK and Ireland business, with some legacy North American liabilities. The role purpose is to provide strategic leadership and expert oversight of the group’s insurance, risk financing and claims operations, ensuring that the company is appropriately protected, financially optimised and operationally supported across their transport divisions.

The Position
- The jobholder will lead the management of the group’s insurance and claims framework, covering both retained (self insured) and transferred (insured) risks. Emphasis is on ensuring divisions receive a high quality service across all insurance risk and claims activities, which in turn, ensures delivery of it’s business plan and operational effectiveness.
