Our client is looking for a graduate-calibre Paralegal to join its Residential Property team in Reading, supporting a Partner and the wider conveyancing team.

This is a varied opportunity for someone with previous experience in private practice
, ideally within residential conveyancing, who is organised, proactive and confident managing deadlines.

You will assist with residential property files, particularly from exchange through to completion
, including:

• Managing post-completion matters and Land Registry applications
• Ordering and reviewing property searches
• Preparing contract packs and legal documentation
• Completing Land Registry and SDLT forms
• Managing key dates and deadlines
• Preparing bills and invoices
• Closing and archiving files
• Liaising with clients and the accounts team

• Graduate calibre
• Previous experience working in private practice
• Ideally, previous residential conveyancing experience
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be authorised to work in the UK

• 25 days' holiday + birthday day

This is a 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent
