Residential Property Paralegal
Location: Eastwood, Nottinghamshire
Salary: Up to £29,000
Working Pattern: Office-based
An established law firm with a strong local presence is looking to add a Residential Property Paralegal to its growing property team.
This would suit someone with previous residential conveyancing experience who is proactive, confident and keen to build their career within property
. You'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge, take on increasing responsibility and progress within an established team.
Working alongside experienced residential property fee earners, you'll provide support across a varied caseload while developing your own understanding of the conveyancing process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting fee earners with residential sales and purchases
- Assisting with freehold and leasehold matters
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Assisting with searches, exchange and completion
- Keeping files up to date and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- Carrying out post-completion and Land Registry work
- Providing general support across the residential property team
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced within a residential property environment
- Proactive and confident in their approach
- Comfortable communicating with clients and other professionals
- Organised, with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently while knowing when to ask for support
- Keen to learn and take on additional responsibility
- Looking for a genuine long-term career and progression opportunity within residential property
