- Salary: £32,000 – £37,000 per year.

What You’ll Be DoingAs a key member of our Reading technical team (Vehicle Technician / Mechanic), you will:
- Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine servicing, engine work, and mechanical repairs.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Use modern automotive software to identify and rectify complex faults.
- Technical Growth: Support senior technicians with high-level fault diagnosis.
- Safety Inspections: Perform thorough vehicle health checks and maintain accurate technical records.
- Quality Standards: Deliver "first-time fix" results to maintain our reputation for excellence.
- Qualifications: Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 18 months workshop experience—we are happy to have a flexible discussion based on your skills.
- Tools: Your own vehicle repair tools are preferred.
- Compliance: A full UK driving license is essential.
- Mindset: A strong interest in diagnostics and a desire to progress toward Level 3 or MOT accreditation.
Location & Commutability
Our facility is based in Reading and is perfectly located for those commuting from Wokingham, Bracknell, Theale, Caversham, Woodley, and Henley-on-Thames.
