Head of Democratic Services – Berkshire – £650 per day – Hybrid– Full time Head of Democratic Services Local Authority in Berkshire 3 month period initially Full time, three times a week office attendance

Are you a driven Democratic Services Lead looking to make a difference in the public sector? Or a Senior Democratic Services Officer looking for a step up? Venn Group is working with a brilliant local authority in Berkshire in their pursuit of a Head of Democratic Services on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month period.

• Experience working as a democratic services lead or manager in a public sector organisation or local authority
• Experience managing a large team
• Experience with a council restructure would be advantageous
• Experience with smaller sized councils would be advantageous

• Managing a team of up to 15 professionals, at all levels
• Help with the restructure of the council’s democratic services team
• Attending and preparing for council meetings
• Mentoring and training less experienced team members
