We’re implementing new cloud-based HR and Expenses systems (Success Factors and Concur) as part of our wider SAP ERP Cloud Apps Programme, and we’re looking for an inspiring ERP Change Lead – Success Factors
, to shape how this change lands across our business.
You’ll help thousands of colleagues prepare for new systems, new processes, and new ways of working — making sure everyone feels informed, supported, and confident through the transition. What you’ll be doing as an ERP Change Lead – Success Factors – 19-24 month FTCAs the ERP Change Lead – Success Factors, you’ll be responsible for driving the change strategy and ensuring the successful adoption of Success Factors and Concur across Thames Water. You will:
- Lead the change management approach and delivery for Success Factors and Concur, shaping how the transformation lands across People/HR and all Directorates.
- Contribute to programme governance, aligning change activity with programme milestones and SAP Activate methodology.
- Build strong relationships across Directorates and with our Systems Integrator, designing and delivering engagement plans that influence and support change adoption.
- Assess and document change impacts across processes, systems, roles, and behaviours, ensuring stakeholders understand what’s changing and why.
- Create and maintain enterprise‑wide change heat maps to help balance change activity and identify areas at risk of saturation.
- Develop and oversee the Training Strategy, including training needs analysis and monitoring effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Communications Lead to shape clear, consistent, and engaging communication across all channels.
- Lead a network of Change Leads and Champions, empowering them to support change within their areas and share insights from the frontline.
- Track readiness and adoption metrics, escalating risks and supporting resolution where required.
- Support business units through go‑live and stabilisation, ensuring colleagues feel confident and equipped during the transition.
Working pattern or hours:
Full-time - 19–24-month FTC
- Demonstrable experience leading change for large-scale programmes, involving SAP Success Factors and Concur.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate or similar implementation methodologies.
- Experience delivering change impact analysis, training, and communication activities.
- Familiarity with organisational change models such as ADKAR.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing third-party delivery partners.
- An understanding of ERP systems and how they impact people and processes.
- A project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
- Experience in benefits tracking, executive reporting, or programme governance frameworks.
- Prior experience working within regulated or complex organisations.
