Registered Manager - Childrens Residential

Daisy Care Homes is an exciting new start-up children’s residential home based in Reading. We are launching with a clear mission: to provide high-quality, safe and nurturing residential care for children and young people who need stability, support and a place to call home.

As a new provision, we offer a unique opportunity to shape the culture, standards and long-term success of a children’s home from the very beginning.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the opening and ongoing development of our children’s residential home.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the home
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation
• Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing care team
• Create and embed a strong safeguarding culture
• Oversee care planning to ensure positive outcomes for young people
• Manage budgets and resources effectively
• Build positive relationships with families, social workers and external professionals
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality standards

This role is ideal for someone who is motivated by the opportunity to build a service from the ground up and make a lasting difference in children’s lives.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and compliance requirements
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
• Financial and budget management experience
