Job Description CAFM Programme Manager
Location: Reading or Dublin (Hybrid, 2–3 days/week on‑site)
Day Rate: Competitive Day Rate (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6+ Months
Primark is embarking on a multi‑year transformation to select, implement, and embed a global CAFM (Computer‑Aided Facilities Management) platform
, and we’re searching for an accomplished Programme Manager to lead this strategic change from inception to global rollout.
This is a flagship initiative that will redefine how facilities, property, and operational teams manage a vast international estate. You’ll be at the helm of a complex, high‑visibility transformation, orchestrating technology, process, and organisational change across multiple regions.
The RoleAs the CAFM Programme Manager
, you will take full ownership of programme delivery, from shaping the roadmap and governance to driving execution across selection, design, implementation, and adoption.
You’ll work in a fast‑paced, stakeholder‑rich environment, partnering with senior leaders across Property, FM, Retail Operations, Technology, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a global CAFM transformation programme
- Own programme governance, planning, RAID management, and executive reporting
- Drive vendor selection, contract negotiation, and solution evaluation
- Oversee process redesign and operating model changes aligned to CAFM capabilities
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams across multiple geographies
- Ensure successful deployment, adoption, and benefits realisation across the estate
- Act as the senior point of escalation for delivery, risks, and stakeholder alignment
- Champion change management, training, and communication strategies
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale technology and business transformation programmes
- Demonstrable experience with CAFM platforms (e.g., Planon, Concept Evolution, IBM TRIRIGA, Accruent, etc.)
- Strong background in facilities management, retail estates, or property operations
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Ability to navigate complex organisational structures and bring clarity to ambiguity
- Experience managing multi‑vendor environments and global delivery teams
- Comfortable operating at pace in a high‑profile, strategically critical programme
