Please note that this role is based in the South but requires regular visits to the Sheffield/Stoke on Trent offices.
What you would do as our Regional Service Operations ManagerReporting to and working very closely with the Head of Service Operations to oversee, guide and drive both the Service Engineer community and our internal Service colleagues to achieve our targeted growth objectives whilst offering best in class technical and customer service.
You would also:
- Oversee, guide and drive the Service Engineer community to achieve growth objectives while ensuring best ‑ in ‑ class technical and customer service.
- Manage the Service community by providing clear direction and support, ensuring engineers are fully equipped, trained and competent in all aspects of their roles.
- Collaborate closely with the QHSE Manager to consistently deliver a strong H&S message and acting as point of escalation for the call center, including resolving out ‑ of ‑ hours call ‑ out issues when needed.
- Manage performance of Service Engineer resources, taking corrective action where necessary, and jointly agreeing with the Head of Service on delivering the required monthly service invoicing forecast.
- Ensure quality costs related to service are reduced in line with group ‑ defined objectives.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a hands ‑ on and inclusive leader who continually guides their team, with a proven track record of leading externally based resources to achieve targeted objectives.
- Is technically aware and experienced in managing large, geographically dispersed teams to deliver required results, while developing and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Has a strong understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment; IOSH/NEBOSH preferred but not required.
- Is able to prepare, update and interpret reports in various formats, including Excel, pivot tables and PowerPoint. .
- Possesses thorough knowledge of our business model, preferably with knowledge of the entrance automation industry, and works closely with peers, contributing significantly to the overall leadership of the business.
