Overview
At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission‑critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting‑edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
Your impact:
At Jacobs, our Water & Environment business sits at the heart of solving some of the UK’s most complex and critical challenges — from flood risk management and climate resilience to protecting vital ecosystems and supporting sustainable growth. We work with key clients including regulated water companies, the Environment Agency and local authorities, delivering programmes that safeguard communities, enhance the natural environment, and ensure long‑term infrastructure resilience.
We’re looking for a skilled NEC4 ECC Project Manager to join our team and play a central role in delivering complex infrastructure projects — bringing expertise, collaboration and leadership to every stage of the project lifecycle.
As the NEC4 ECC Project Manager you’ll make clear, fair and impartial contract decisions while ensuring projects are delivered compliantly and efficiently. You’ll manage early warnings, compensation events, programme acceptance and instructions, maintaining momentum across the project lifecycle.
Working at the heart of delivery, you’ll lead coordination between contractors, designers, planners and commercial teams, reviewing programmes in detail — including logic, float and critical path – to ensure robust and achievable plans. You’ll take a proactive approach to risk management, facilitate risk‑reduction meetings and support the development of Scope / Works Information.
Alongside this, you’ll oversee commercial performance to ensure value for money, build strong client relationships and lead key project meetings with confidence. You’ll also play a key role in driving innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement, while supporting or acting as NEC4 ECC Project Manager where required.
