Associate Director Project Management

Overview

The Associate Director Project Management will lead the Berkshire office for a construction consultancy in Reading, overseeing new client acquisition alongside existing project portfolios. This permanent role focuses on managing large property programmes for major estate holders, covering new build, refurbishment, and fit‑out work. Candidates should bring proven business development experience and the ability to run multiple building projects simultaneously. The position offers a negotiable salary and involves both strategic growth responsibilities and hands‑on project delivery.

• Lead new client acquisition and business development initiatives for the Berkshire office.
• Oversee and manage large property programmes for major estate holders, including new build, refurbishment, and fit‑out work.
• Coordinate project teams, maintain client relationships, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timeline targets.
• Drive strategic growth and serve as senior leadership influence over office expansion and service quality.

• Construction‑related degree (e.g., Construction Project Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or equivalent).
• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum experience at Associate Project Manager level or higher, with demonstrated involvement in business development, fee proposals, bids, and client networking.
• Excellent written and spoken English with confidence in communicating at all levels.

Negotiable salary commensurate with experience.
