General Manager | Fishing & Angling | Reading | Up to £35,000

Are you an experienced manager with a genuine passion for fishing and angling?

We're recruiting for a General Manager in Reading for a well-established business serving the angling community.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded leader who can lead a team, drive sales and deliver an excellent customer experience, while working in an environment centred around something you're genuinely passionate about.

• Up to £35,000 salary depending on experience

As General Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the business.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching and developing the team
• Driving sales, KPIs and commercial performance
• Managing stock, rotas, administration and compliance
• Maintaining high standards across the store
• Building strong relationships with customers and encouraging repeat business

We're open on background and are more interested in your leadership ability, commercial mindset and passion for fishing.

You'll also have:

• Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A hands-on, organised approach

• Good knowledge of fishing products and equipment
