Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Hayes, South of England) Salary£50,000 per year
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs? We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the operational delivery of a brand-new children’s home in Hayes
.
As our Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and child-centered environment. You’ll lead a dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of care, in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards
.
- Lead the operational delivery of a newly opened children’s home.
- Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted requirements.
- Drive a high-quality, child-focused care environment prioritising safety, development, and wellbeing.
- Manage, mentor, and develop your team, including rotas, appraisals, supervisions, and training.
- Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, education liaison, and care planning.
- Maintain budgets, accurate records, and uphold confidentiality and data protection.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota to provide effective support as needed.
- NVQ Level 3 minimum;
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Health & Social Care) or working towards. - Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.
- Proven experience managing a children’s residential home.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and Ofsted standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- IT literate and able to perform manual handling tasks.
- Full UK driving license (desirable).
