Data Access PCRF Designer – 5G Standalone Reading / Paddington Contract

We are working with our client on a long-term contract opportunity for a Data Access PCRF Designer to join their Core Data Services team.

This role sits within the team responsible for the systems that connect 5G, 4G and 3G mobile data customers to web services and content, with a strong focus on policy control, charging systems and 5G standalone readiness.

The team are currently moving from legacy environments into cloud-native architecture, making this a great opportunity to work on large-scale transformation projects across PCF, PCRF and UDR platforms.

• Design and develop cloud-native PCF, PCRF and UDR solutions
• Work across policy control and charging systems
• Deliver integration modelling and technical design work
• Collaborate with Operations, Test, Revenue Assurance and wider stakeholder teams
• Support ongoing migration from legacy to cloud-native platforms
• Strong PCF / PCRF experience
• 5G Standalone architecture knowledge
• Policy design and policy charging expertise
• Telecoms operator background
• Understanding of BSS / OCS integrations
• Cloud-native or Telco Cloud exposure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Approx. 4–6 days per month in Reading + 2 days in Paddington
