Forklift Operative
Location: Reading
Pay: £15-16 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Pick computer‑generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items
- Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and independently
- Operate saws and handle steel
- Transfer stock to its location using forklift trucks and cranes
- Assist in the overall production and dispatch of customer orders
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety
- Adapt and be flexible to meet operational requirements
- Must hold a valid forklift licence
Rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday: 5:00 am – 1:30 pm and 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm
