About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand Manager to lead Dulco Lax in the UK market. You will oversee the end-to-end management of the brand locally, driving performance, market share growth, and brand equity. This position is based in Reading, Berkshire
, with a hybrid working model (3 days per week in the office), and reports to the Zone Brand Lead within a global structure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Dulco Lax continues to outpace the market and maintain its leadership position.
- Consumer Insight:
Use UK-specific market research and consumer insights to shape marketing plans that resonate with local audiences. - Campaign Management:
Adapt and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional media, and healthcare professional channels to build awareness and brand love. - Product Portfolio:
Manage the UK product portfolio, including launches, line extensions, and SKU optimization, ensuring strong market fit and growth potential. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure promotional materials comply with UK advertising standards and MHRA guidelines. - Agency Management:
Lead external agencies in developing creative assets and media plans, ensuring high-quality output and ROI. - Governance:
Maintain adherence to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in the UK healthcare sector.
- Own the UK brand P&L, driving sales and profitability through effective marketing strategies and innovation.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and media performance.
- Analyze promotional actions and optimize for maximum impact.
- Support sales meetings with key messages and impactful presentations.
- Deliver presentations effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, medical, regulatory, supply chain) for seamless execution of brand plans.
- Build strong relationships with local stakeholders and agencies to ensure market needs are met.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in FMCG or OTC healthcare brands highly desirable.
- Proven experience in brand management within OTC, FMCG, or healthcare sectors.
- Ability to craft and execute consumer-centric marketing strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset and passion for building brand love.
- Commercial acumen with P&L management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with effective project management abilities.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and strategies.
