Senior Care Assistant, Day – Lavender Hills

Full time, permanent, 33.75 hours per week.

• Provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans and ensuring polite, friendly, warm and supportive contact.
• Participate in the formulation and maintenance of individual care plans and administer medication as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records.
• Provide leadership to the care staff and ensure all staff contribute to efficient running of the service.
• Supervise staff you support, ensuring the health and well‑being of all staff working within the home.
• Develop effective working relationships with other employees.
• Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary team and liaise with other care professionals regarding residents’ care needs.
• Maintain current skills, undertaking training and development as required and seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth.

• Be a role model for the team and mentor colleagues, building strong relationships.
• Be professional, polite and reasonable at all times.
• Provide a warm welcome to new residents, team members and visitors and familiarise them with the home.
• Attend statutory training and any other training as directed, with openness to learning opportunities.
• Have a good understanding of dementia and its impact, basic knowledge of CQC and fundamental standards.
• Adhere to all of Millennium Care UK Ltd.’s Policies and Procedures.

• Salary £14 per hour.
