Head Gardener – Vacancy

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Gardener to lead the gardening team at Englefield House. The gardens comprise a mainly private nine-acre, nineteenth‑century ‘Italian’ garden, surrounded by a twentieth century woodland garden. There is also a walled kitchen garden producing a wide range of vegetables, fruit and flowers. The gardens are open to visitors every Monday throughout the year and are the venue for various events and filming.

• Lead the gardening team at Englefield House and manage the nine-acre gardens (nineteenth‑century Italian garden, woodland garden, and walled kitchen garden).
• Provide hands-on gardening and practical day-to-day leadership with a collaborative approach.
