Isabelle Vets is looking for a Small Animal & Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team in Guernsey.

This is a particularly exciting time to join us. As part of our continued expansion and growth
, we are currently building a brand-new veterinary practice at Garenne Park, due to open in January 2027 and is pending hospital status with facilities designed to support both small animal and equine patients.

Alongside a competitive salary and excellent benefits, we are offering a £2,000 joining reward and up to £1,500 relocation support for eligible direct applicants. Accommodation is typically provided for your first six months (depending on availability), helping make your move to Guernsey as straightforward as possible.

If you enjoy variety, want to maintain a broad skill set and like the idea of helping shape a growing service
, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

Our new practice will bring together modern facilities and dedicated spaces for both small animal and equine patients, including:

• Six consulting rooms
• Four operating theatres
• CT and X-ray
• Dedicated small animal hospitalisation
• Dedicated equine facilities and stabling
• 24-hour veterinary care

You’ll have the opportunity to work across both areas of the practice while developing your own clinical interests.

We are looking for a Vet who genuinely enjoys the variety that a combined role offers.

You might be consulting small animal patients one day and seeing equine cases the next. The exact balance can be shaped around your skills, interests and experience
.

Whether you are already working in mixed practice or is a Small Animal or Equine Vet looking to broaden your experience, we would be interested in speaking with you.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, collaborative and keen to be part of a team that is building something exciting for the future
.

This is an opportunity to develop your clinical interests, work alongside colleagues across different areas of the practice and have a genuine influence on the direction of a growing service.

Isabelle Vets has been part of the Guernsey community for over 100 years. You’ll be joining an established practice with a strong local reputation, but at a time when we’re investing heavily in our future.

Our continued growth and expansion are creating exciting opportunities for veterinary professionals to help shape the next chapter of Isabelle Vets.

The new practice provides an opportunity to develop our services, introduce new facilities and provide an even greater level of care to our patients.

For a Vet who enjoys variety and wants to have a genuine influence on the direction of a growing service,
this is an opportunity not to miss.
