Quality Engineer​/QC Inspector - SC Cleared

Location: AWE, Burghfield (Hybrid)
Rate: 48 per hour (Outside IR35) + expenses
Contract: 12 months
Start: ASAP
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer / QC Inspector to provide QA/QC support across a range of projects at AWE, Burghfield. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering excellent rates and flexible hybrid working.

You will support projects from initial kick-off through to final completion, ensuring all quality requirements are met in line with established standards and procedures.

• Review and accept procedures and documentation in line with QC1 requirements

• Carry out QC inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

• Ongoing review and final acceptance of Life Time Records (LTRs)

• Perform final release inspections

• Witness testing activities as required

• Attend project, quality, and stakeholder meetings

• Provide robust QA/QC support across multiple project stages

• Active SC Clearance (minimum - must be live)

• Proven experience in nuclear and/or defence environments

• Strong background in Quality Engineering and QC Inspection

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within regulated environments

• 48 per hour, Outside IR35
