Position: Supervisor £27 ph

Elco Recruitment are an agency that supplies workers within the Construction industry. We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Quality Assurance Supervisor to support works at a nuclear power station in Aldermaston. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising site activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining strict compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

This role requires a highly organised individual with strong site experience, attention to detail, and the ability to use digital tools for reporting and quality records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day‑to‑day site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
  • Carry out quality inspections and audits in line with project specifications, ITPs, and nuclear quality requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate QA documentation, including inspection records, NCRs, and photographic evidence
  • Use digital devices (tablet/phone) to capture photos, complete reports, and update quality records
  • Liaise with contractors, engineers, and project management to resolve quality or site issues
  • Support site inductions, toolbox talks, and safe systems of work
  • Report progress, issues, and non‑conformances clearly and promptly
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor and/or QA Supervisor
  • Previous experience working in a nuclear or highly regulated environment (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and site supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Technically savvy – confident using smartphones, tablets, and digital reporting systems
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work long site hours (8–11 hours per day)
  • Relevant site safety qualifications (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS)
Additional Information

Working Hours:

8–11 hours per day (site-based)

Site-based role at a secure nuclear facility

All candidates must be able to meet security clearance requirements

Immediate or short‑notice start preferred - Feb 2026 start.
