To support this expansion, they are seeking a Quality Engineer who will take an active, hands-on role in supplier onboarding, auditing, and compliance, ensuring every supplier meets the company's longstanding standards of workmanship and reliability.

Reporting to the Supplier Quality Team Lead and operating within the QESH (Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health) framework, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Quality Assurance & Supplier Oversight

  • Supporting the Quality Manager in the day-to-day management of supplier and product quality
  • Logging, managing, and resolving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring effective corrective actions
  • Leading root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Managing the communication of technical files, drawings, and specifications
  • Monitoring and supporting rework on-site when supplier issues arise

  • Planning and executing internal and external supplier audits across the UK and Ireland
  • Producing clear, concise reports following supplier assessments and follow-up actions
  • Supporting wider business compliance efforts in line with ISO standards
Candidate Requirements
  • A strong track record in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and assembly techniques
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 environments; knowledge of BS EN 1090, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is advantageous
  • A recognised engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or degree-level preferred)
  • Valid CSCS card (SMSTS or SSSTS is desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential, due to regular supplier travel)
  • Competitive salary with performance-based quarterly bonus
  • 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced employer pension contributions
  • Private healthcare (including family cover)
  • Free daily lunch at the company's headquarters
  • Clear, structured progression through quarterly performance reviews and continuous professional development (CPD)
