Test Manager

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to take ownership of quality assurance and testing across a portfolio of technology and business change projects. You'll play a key role in ensuring solutions are delivered to the highest standards by embedding quality from the outset and driving robust testing practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Define and implement testing strategies, frameworks and quality standards across projects and programmes.
• Lead QA and testing activities across multiple work streams and change initiatives.
• Develop project-specific test plans and ensure quality criteria are met throughout delivery.
• Coordinate test execution, defect management and issue resolution.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and pre-go-live activities.
• Manage testing risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation plans.
• Work closely with project teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools and methodologies.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence quality-focused decision making.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed standards.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in QA and Test Management within software implementation projects.
• Strong experience delivering testing within both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Solid understanding of test planning, execution, defect management and quality assurance.
• Experience managing suppliers and third-party delivery partners.
• Strong knowledge of risk, issue and dependency management.
• Understanding of Dev Ops methodologies and modern testing practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence teams and drive quality within a matrix organisation.
• Hands-on experience with testing and quality management tools.
• Project or Programme Management experience.
• Experience working within large-scale business transformation programmes.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
