Junior Resident Services Manager

Build to Rent | Single-Family Housing

The Opportunity

We are currently working with a highly regarded and rapidly growing operator within the UK's Build to Rent (BTR) single-family housing sector, who are looking to appoint a Junior Resident Services Manager to join their growing team.

The organisation specialises in providing high-quality, new-build family homes for rent across the UK, with a strong focus on creating well-managed communities and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within residential property, lettings, tenancy management or resident services.

You'll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team where you'll receive support and development while gaining valuable exposure to the full resident lifecycle.

About the Role

As a Junior Resident Services Manager, you'll support the delivery of an excellent resident experience throughout the tenancy journey, from move-in through to renewal and eventual move-out.

Working closely with the Resident Services Team Manager and wider operational teams, you'll assist with tenancy administration, resident queries, inspections, complaints, compliance and end-of-tenancy processes.

This is a development-focused role, ideal for someone who has a genuine interest in residential property and is keen to broaden their experience within a growing BTR environment.

You don't need to be an expert in tenancy legislation from day one. We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, customer-focused and eager to learn.

Schedule and follow up on mid-term property inspections.
Maintain clear and professional communication with residents throughout their tenancy.

Customer Service & Resident Support

Act as a key point of contact for resident queries and requests.
Deliver a responsive, professional and empathetic customer service experience.
Handle resident complaints effectively and escalate complex matters where required.
Communicate clearly and consistently with residents.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

Compliance & Administration

Ensure tenancy documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
Maintain internal systems and resident records in accordance with company policies.
Support compliance with relevant UK tenancy legislation and regulatory requirements.
Handle resident information with a high level of confidentiality.

Collaboration

Work closely with Customer Service, Maintenance, Lettings and Aftercare teams.
Support the Resident Services Team Manager with operational improvements and process changes.
Help ensure a seamless resident journey across all areas of the business.
Contribute ideas and feedback to improve processes and resident experience.
Embrace operational change and support the implementation of new ways of working.

Data & Reporting

Maintain accurate tenancy and resident data.
Assist with reporting and analysis.
Identify trends and recurring issues within resident services.
Use data and feedback to support improvements in service delivery.

About You

We're looking for a driven, customer-focused and organised individual who is keen to build a long-term career within residential property.

You may already have experience in residential lettings, property administration, tenancy management or customer service, or you may be ready to take the next step in your property career.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience or knowledge of residential property, lettings or tenancy administration.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
Excellent attention to detail.

An ARLA qualification, or willingness to work towards one, would be advantageous.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth residential property business at an important stage of its development.
