Hospitality Assistant

We are looking for a Hospitality Assistant who will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service for DINE on a part‑time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. You will join a team that takes pride in our food, brand and people.

Monday – Thursday; 11.30 am – 6.30 pm

• Greeting and looking after guests so they leave delighted
• Serving customers, ensuring an easy and seamless personalised experience
• Being knowledgeable about the menu and making recommendations
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Flexibility to work extra hours when an evening event is taking place, overtime will be paid.

• Stack dishwashers, keep crockery, cups & cutlery clean and rotate for use in cupboards throughout the day
• Coffee machine – daily cleaning, sanitising and restocking raw materials
• Pepsi soda fountain – daily cleaning, sanitising and restocking raw materials
• Order consumables for coffee machine and soda fountain in the absence of other catering team
• Assist with set up for hospitality and serving where requested
• Clear hospitality refreshments in meeting rooms
• Maintain cleaning and hygiene standards of kitchen areas, periodic cleaning of fridges; liaise with HK team as necessary
• Restock Quaker porridge pots at the end of each day and lay out fresh toppings
• Order fresh foods, milk & condiments in the absence of other catering team
• Order snack supplies for staff shop in the absence of other catering team
• Refresh staff shop, ensure crisps on shelves
• Maintain food hygiene standards
• Assist with service promotions and events where hospitality is required
