We have an opportunity for a Hospitality Assistant to join their team of staff.

This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

• You support all kitchen operations, undertaking a wide range of catering duties to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of food services.
• You prepare food to agreed recipes, quality standards and presentation requirements, ensuring consistency across all meals.
• You assist in delivering nutritious, appetising meals that meet individual dietary, cultural and clinical requirements.
• You ensure all patients, visitors and colleagues receive high-quality food and excellent customer service.
• You support the timely preparation and service of meals, snacks and refreshments throughout the hospital.
• You assist with stock rotation, storage and replenishment to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience.
• College, HND or equivalent catering qualification, or relevant industry experience.
• Good knife skills and safe food preparation techniques.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Good understanding of HACCP principles, COSHH and safe working practices.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and food safety standards.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and colleagues.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 7.0.
• Willingness to work flexibly to meet service requirements.
• Professional appearance and willingness to comply with the hospital uniform policy.
