Sales Assistant

Overview

The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well” and we can’t do that without our specialist teams. This time, we’re on the lookout for a Sales Assistant who will be working with Zak and the Team in our Reading store. The contract available is 12 hours per week (overtime also available). Our ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work evening shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4.30pm.

• Offer exceptional customer service and maximise sales and KPI targets.
• Develop expert product and selling skills knowledge to stay up to date with the latest store ranges and promotions.
• Collaborate with and support the wider sales team to improve efficiency of the store.
• Perform stock-related tasks including stock accuracy checks, replenishment, and processing deliveries.
• Maintain high visual merchandising and store housekeeping standards, adhering to VM and Health and Safety guidelines.

• Previous experience in a retail or hospitality setting with a focus on customer service
• High levels of enthusiasm, drive, and motivation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work confidently alone while contributing positively to a team environment
• Quickly building rapport with customers
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
