Regional Sales Manager – £50,000‑£55,000 + company car + bonuses – South Central Territory
My client, a well‑established supplier within their sector, is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their growing sales team on a permanent basis. This field‑based role is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and managing a regional territory with autonomy.
Responsibilities- Drive sales growth across the assigned region, achieving agreed revenue and margin targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders' merchants, landscapers, and trade customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close and aftersales support
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and customer information within the CRM system
- Plan and manage customer visits, product presentations, and promotional activity across the region
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure a high level of customer service
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management
- Proven experience in a field‑based sales role, ideally within construction, building materials, or a related industry
- Experience selling through builders' merchants and working with professional trade customers
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Self‑motivated and confident managing an independent regional territory
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and customer activity
- Commercially aware with a proactive and strategic sales approach
- £50,000 – £55,000 + annual and quarterly bonuses
