Reading (Hybrid – 2–3 days office-based + site/client travel) £95,000–£100,000 basic + Quarterly Bonus + Executive Car + Full Benefits

A market‑leading manufacturer of bespoke façades, balconies, and architectural metalwork is looking to appoint an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record of securing high‑value project sales.

They work with some of the UK’s leading residential developers and contractors, delivering high‑quality, bespoke systems for multi‑storey residential developments nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop & grow relationships with house builders, residential developers, and main contractors
  • Identify & secure new project opportunities within multi‑storey residential developments
  • Support projects from early engagement through to order placement and delivery (Typically RIBA Stages 4–7)
  • Collaborate closely with estimating, design, & wider business development teams to win projects
  • Provide technical & commercial input on bespoke balcony and façade fixing solutions
  • Manage and convert a live pipeline of opportunities into secured revenue
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team‑based sales environment, sharing knowledge and industry relationships
The Successful Candidate Will Have

Experience selling engineered technical construction products into Residential Developers & Contractors, such as:

  • Balconies & balustrades
  • Timber Frames

A strong background in project‑led sales within the residential construction sector

Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle

The ability to operate effectively within a collaborative, non‑territorial sales structure

A demonstrable track record of winning and closing complex deals
