Luxury Cruise Sales Consultant

An amazing opportunity has arisen for experienced Luxury Travel Consultants to join a growing travel company that specialises in luxury cruises. As a cruise specialist you will be working as part of their sales team, in their beautiful offices near Reading (ample parking available).

If you have 1 year+ experience within a travel sales role, pride yourself on your professional friendly approach, this could be the perfect travel industry opportunity for you!

They are offering a competitive starting salary range from £26,500 – £28,000 (depending on experience), with an OTE of £31,000 – £39,000, excellent benefits and career progression!

• Taking enquiries and creating luxury travel itineraries
• Specialising in luxury cruise products
• Ensuring every potential customer is offered a friendly, knowledgeable, professional service
• Following up on quotes to ensure awareness of unbeatable prices or alternative quotes to secure a reservation
• Ensuring all itinerary details are communicated thoroughly to the client
• Taking payments
• Making any initial amendments to itineraries
• Assisting with pre‑ and post‑departure queries
• Upselling by offering additional products and excursions to ensure a customer's unique experience
• Bringing ideas to the business, helping find new potential customers
• Working to achieve sales targets and earning commission
• Being flexible to work 5 days over a 7-day rota, primarily between 9 am to 6 pm

The ideal candidate will have previous travel industry sales experience, with knowledge of luxury travel and cruise. If you have worked for a high street retail travel agency and have not specialised in luxury or cruise, but are keen to do so, this is a great opportunity to develop in your travel industry career. Target‑driven sales experience from an alternative industry with exceptional customer service and the ability to liaise with high‑touch clientele will also be considered.

Starting salary of £26,000 – £28,000 with an OTE of £31,000 – £39,000. A good benefits package and career progression opportunities are also offered.
