Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 net + £8,000 uncapped bonus. Benefits:

• Field sales position selling scaffolding and related products (fencing, groundworks, edge protection, safety and light access).
• Sell into main contractors, civil contractors, ground workers, house builders and utility contractors.
• Work four days a week on the road (≈8 calls per day) and one day from the Reading depot office.
• Target: £400 of hire and £20,000 of sales per week.
• Work as part of a two‑person field sales team based at Reading depot.
• Develop new business by following up leads from depot, Linked In and Glenigans.
• Shadow an experienced Regional Sales Manager during the first 2‑3 months.

• Construction field sales experience working with contractors, or a broker/merchant experience looking for a first field sales role.
• Contacts within main contractors, civil contractors, ground workers, house builders or utility contractors are advantageous.
• Open to any product line sold.
• Background in hiring and sales acceptable.
• Curious, entrepreneurial, comfortable with site visits.
• Able to travel to Reading depot one day a week.
• Understanding of pricing strategy.
