£35,000 - £45,000 + Company Car + Fuel Card + Bonus + Progression + Training + Bonus

Do you have sales experience within the Construction industry with knowledge of construction equipment, plant, tool hire or groundworks looking for a field-based role with excellent training and progression?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist hire and sales division within a major international construction group.

The company supplies a range of temporary equipment and solutions to the construction industry and is continuing to grow due to strong market demand. You will receive full product training and work closely with an experienced Sales Director while developing your own client base.

In this role, you will manage existing accounts, identify new opportunities and visit construction sites across your territory. You will combine technical knowledge with business development and relationship management to support continued regional growth.

With that, the ideal candidate will have experience within construction, plant, tool hire or a similar environment, alongside strong communication skills and the ambition to develop within a sales career.

The Role:

Managing and developing existing customer accounts
Generating new business opportunities across the region
Visiting construction sites and meeting customers
Identifying opportunities through leads and market information
Providing technical and product support to customers
Managing sales administration and account activity
One day per week completing administration from the branch
Covering the Reading territory

The Person :

Experience with in construction, plant, tool hire or a related industry
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident and commercially minded
Eager to learn and develop within technical sales
Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Full UK Driving Licence
